So as Broke tries to sneak into the girls car for the trip – she is really wanting to go anywhere…I figure I could take her shopping and kill an hour. So I open up Sara’s van and it looks like a someone dumped the kitchen garbage can into the back. Soda cans, fast food wrappers (and some of the food), crackers – you name it – everywhere. All I can say is Homey don’t play that. I am not riding in a swagger wagon, playing Mr. Mom, with junk in the trunk. Decide to take the van to Scruffy Duck instead of shopping to get that junk vacuumed out and polish the ride. Fortunately, Sara left me just enough gas to get almost out of the driveway before the fuel light turned on. She cute and funny, but not an Eagle Scout. While they worked on the Van, I took Brooke down to Bojangles to get my baby some biscuits, bacon, and bo’rounds. She wasn’t impressed. Maybe because she couldn’t throw the wrappers on the van floor. Walked her back to watch the car wash do its magic. She WAS impressed with that…so much so in fact that she filled her pants. Good times.
On the way home we got stuck in front of the train…Brooke was cute saying “Hi choo choo!!” to the engine several times as it slowly rolled up and then “Bye choo choo!!” about 5 times per car as it slowly creeped by in front of us. Fortunately there were only about 12 cars attached or that could have gotten really annoying…also because I didn’t order the “Full Pants” special air freshener.Man to man is no problem…taking it all in stride…now I need to go make lunch for Brooke and get ready for the boys to get home – thank you Wake County for early release day!
53 Hours to go…Still in stride.

Ok, this is too funny. Many of my friends have messy vans like that but I'm always taking mine to cleaned out...especially since I car pool with three boys that seem to leave more food in the car than in their stomachs. I do however always get blamed for leaving the car on low fuel...but the light isn't on...I totally think it's a man thing :-) I'm seriously enjoying reading this. you're a great writer and it's fun to see a blog done from your prospective.
